As a Content Strategist you are responsible for creating highly strategic, persuasive, and memorable content across all platforms. Content Strategists are fearless leaders and conceptual thinkers, who bring vision, inspiration and insight into branded communications. You will collaborate with our passionate and talented team to drive and execute top-notch content and marketing strategies for clients as well as the agency.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conceptual development, strategy and execution of various content deliverables including web site copy, blog posts, whitepapers, digital advertising, emails, print collateral, and social media posts
  • Create content strategy documentation, including content inventories, audits, mapping, migration planning and tracking, and process workflows  
  • Participate in client meetings, creative brainstorms, and new business meetings
  • Develop a strong understanding of our client’s and their competitors businesses; apply a brand’s voice to all communication materials
  • Collaborate with the creative team to concept and deliver the big idea, as well as forward-thinking execution possibilities
  • Demonstrate significant digital commerce and content strategy knowledge ; stay up-to-date on emerging trends and practices
  • Author online content utilizing SEO best practices
  • Assist in the management of the agency’s web properties
  • Assist in the management and growth of the agency’s social media accounts
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, problem-solving and organizational skills; adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

You should bring to the table:

  • Excellent writing skills with demonstrated ability to write successfully for the web (driving traffic, building engagement, and optimizing user experience)
  • Proven ability to write in a variety of tones and voices
  • Solid presentation skills, both internally and client-facing, demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses the client challenge
  • Ability to exercise both technical and creative/editorial copywriting skills, and an understanding of the appropriate context and audience for each
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience with an agency or professional services firm is ideal
  • Detail-oriented; productive without compromising quality
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to meet daily deadlines and capable of operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations
  • Must enjoy working with multidisciplinary digital teams on a variety of projects and with clients across industries
  • Ability to work with graphic design applications such as Illustrator and InDesign is a plus
  • Knowledge of Public Relations process and best practices is a plus
  • Basic HTML knowledge a plus
