Job Summary

Gorilla is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Chicago. As a Project Coordinator you are responsible for assisting the Project Management team in the coordination of ecommerce and digital marketing projects. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assuring projects are organized and running efficiently. This includes managing client communications, taking accurate notes, creating documentation, assigning and tracking tasks and issues, and working with project teams on deliverables. We are looking for people who are creative problem solvers. You must be organized, self-motivated, and must have an exceptional level of attention-to-detail. 


Job Responsibilities

Gathers and organizes project information from cross-disciplinary internal teams and clients
Track and manage action items, task status, and client status
Schedules internal and client meetings, prepares agendas, documents and distributes action items
Maintain and update project plans and schedules, assist with resource allocation/forecasting
Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email
Verify scope completeness on projects with the Quality Assurance team
Manage small projects and maintain a schedule for the team assigned to the project
Work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently
Update Project Managers and other team members of progress on assorted tasks
Assists in web research for current client projects and new business pitches 
Contributes creative and innovative ideas; gathers insights, facts and data to enrich the planning and creative processes for the client and internal team.



1-3 years of experience in digital project coordinating within the agency environment
Proven track record of taking ownership of multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven culture
Excellent attention to detail, process driven and able to organize people and activities
Experience in project management tools (including Jira, Confluence, and MS Project are a plus)
Experience supervising and performing associated administrative tasks relevant to the project
Able to handle multiple priorities, while assisting internal teams to the successful delivery of all projects
Excellent creative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Must be motivated and driven
